As a Figure Skating Coach, I offer private lessons and off-ice training in order to work on strength, agility, core, posture, positions, stretching, jumps, and spinner.

One-on-one Instruction

As a Figure Skating coach, I foster a passion and joy for Figure Skating. I promote learning and self-improvement  by inspiring and motivating my students with every lesson by accommodating their learning needs. I reinforce learning techniques by providing positive feedback and constructive criticism.

 

I am effective in relaying and communicating with my students with their goals, expectations, and accomplishments. Private lessons are great for students that succeed with one-on-one attention and help with enhancing their confidence and self-competence on the ice and as an athlete. 

OFF-ICE CLASSES

Maximize on Ice Results

Off-ice is essential to figure skating and integral to the training process and development. Off-ice reinforces technique and muscle memory while building new muscle and body awareness. 

Off-ice conditioning  helps the on-ice practices become more efficient. Without complimenting on-ice training with off-ice conditioning, the lower limbs will not be able to continuously absorb the shock of jump landing throughout the intensive training program. Off-ice conditioning helps strengthen the surrounding muscles of the lower limb, increasing the stability of landing and decreasing  the likelihood of injuries.
