I’m happy to announce Eva has passed her first test this summer! I’m proud of her hard work and commitment to her training .
Testing the first test takes on average 1-1.5 years of skating and is a major accomplishment! There are 8 tests and they take on average 6 months-1 year per level.
I will reiterate it is important to have structure in your skating which leads to discipline & commitment. Setting clear goals is important in order to have a sense of direction, be motivated, and aspire to new things. Increasing your commitment level will lead to more progress, enjoyment of skating, and an unwavering passion for skating. It is also essential that skaters take personal responsibility of their skating. A consistent training regimen will help avoid any stagnation or frustration. In figure skating, it is important to have consistency, repetition, muscle memory, which will all lead to confidence. Happy training!
